Wei holds a BSc degree. from Shanghai Jiaotong University. He joined Oxford Instruments after graduation and gained his experience in Life Science and Material Science there at Oxford Instruments – the first spin out company from Oxford University which dates back to the 1950s.
Whilst working at Oxford Instruments, Wei was living and working in China, Singapore and Germany. This whole experience sparked the initial idea for Wei to found Tianyi Consulting – all with the aim of supporting startups like yours to make them successful globally.
Wei is an expert in global distribution, marketing strategy and product marketing. He has a track record of leading rapid business growth introducing new products and technology into the market. Besides Tianyi Consulting, he is passionate about contributing into the overall startup eco system. He is an active angel investor and also serves as a mentor at German Accelerator.

He grew up in England, Switzerland, and Spain, and has worked for companies in these countries as well as spending well over 20 years in France. He is fully bilingual and bicultural English-French, is fluent in German and Spanish and even gets by in Swiss German.
During 4 decades of rich experience in international business development, he has created a sales growth methodology called 21P, built from decades of continuous improvement of the original 4P Marketing mix that everyone knows, working for small, medium, and large companies, including a few of his own.
